Little Mo Writers Workshop

Little Mo Writers workshop is a program that was initially initiated by Humanities North Dakota as a virtual workshop during the pandemic. They recognized that aspiring writers in underserved communities could benefit from extra inspiration and guidance, so they established this workshop to assist them. Humanities North Dakota is partnering with The James Memorial Art Center to host the workshop Wednesday, August 2nd, from 6 pm to 9 pm in Williston.

The workshop will feature a public reading, discussion, small group writing workshop, and a young writers boot camp with authors Debra Marquart, Tayo Basquiat, Erika Bolstad, and David Bjerklie!

The event is FREE with registration here: https://www.humanitiesnd.org/extended-events-collection/little-mo-writers-tour---williston.

  • The Main session includes a public reading and discussion with the four tour authors. Registration is required for this and all other sessions.
  • The Small Group Writing Workshop session is open to adult participants ages 18+. Participants are asked to submit a short writing sample to Crista at [email protected] before the event to get the most out of this workshop.
