For most Williston citizens, pets are like family. That friendly furry face greeting you every day is what makes a house a home and that reliable companionship transcends human history. Mondak Animal Rescue has been diligently working to bring pets to their furrrrrever humans in their new building since April 12, 2019. We all know an animal shelter isn't just a building, however, it is an essential and functioning operation that needs our support. Luckily, it’s that wonderful time of year again when we citizens get to help Mondak continue achieving their goals.
With the exception of an online only basket fundraiser during Covid, Mondak has been throwing a fun shindig for the last 7 years called All Fur Love. This Saturday, February 4 at 5:30 at The Grand Williston Hotel & Conference Center, All Fur Love is in full swing again with dinner, live music by Josey & The Whalers, dancing and a live auction. Don’t forget all those adorable pet photos to show off, too.
Speaking of showing off, the animal rescue is currently looking for a couple more big ticket items to auction off at the event, and sponsor tables are also available for anyone interested in helping out with his noble furry cause. Auction items can be goods or services offered locally and the staff at Mondak Animal Rescue are open to any suggestions or artistic flair. Mark you calendars now and get that brain ticking so we can all come together to make this the best year for pets ever.
