This past weekend saw the 23 Williston Sea Lion Swim Club swimmers compete at the 10u State Swim Meet in Fargo. Coach Cam Elmer told us there were 33 Top 8 Finishes with
- Hayden Pehrson had a fantastic meet and is now the Boys 8U state champion in the 50 Freestyle and 50 Fly and Boys 8U High Point Runner-up.
- Kinsley Sherman is the Girls 8U 25 Backstroke state champion.
- New Team Record in the Girls 8U 100fr relay Torynn Elmer Stella Rossland Kinsley Sherman London Wenko
Four swimmers qualified for the 2023 International Senior Cup in St. Petersburg, Florida, on March 21-March 26. There will be teams from all 50 states and other countries.
- Kambree Draper will compete in the 200IM, 200FR, 100FR, 50FR, 50BR, 100BR, 200BR, and 400IM
- Zach Budd will compete in 200IM, 50Fly, 50BR, 100BR, and 200BR
- Dru Zander will compete in 50Fly, 50FR, 100FR, 200FR, 100Fly
- Braelynn Tofte will compete in 50Fly, 50FR, 100FR, 50BK, 50BR, and 100BK
Coach Cam added, "We have one more meet that just opened up March 5th that we can get more qualifiers. We are actively seeking national team donors to help offset costs for these families."
